We are a group of Filipino comic book creators and enthusiasts engaged in the publication of our own titles and the promotion of the independent titles of our members.

Formed on 26 August 2008, we owe our group's existence to our founder and mentor,
Gilbert :icongammaknight: Monsanto.

Our series Bayan Knights is published under his Sacred Mountain Publications

Bayan Knights Secret Santa waiting for 2 more!

Christmas may have already gone but we still have a lot of holiday cheer to spread around :D A total of 46 Bayan Knights members are now part of our Secret Santa activity and we need just two more watchers to comment on this journal entry to cap the year :)

Secret Santa artwork will be uploaded to our group gallery while the lucky recipient of the gift subscription will just wake up to find himself/herself subscribed before 2010 rolls in ;)

Here's hoping you and your loved ones enjoyed the best Christmas yet. All the best to everyone in the year ahead!

Who we are...

Filipino artists, writers, and comic book fans united by a childhood dream to see our heroes come to life and save the day.


Apart from producing a book that reflects the best of this unprecedented collaboration, we are also determined to protect each other's creative output by ensuring that all our original characters remain the property of their respective creators. Our success would thus be shared by all, but the success of each creator is our ultimate goal.

Bayan Knights: The Series

Sacred Mountain Publications has gathered in this title some of the country's most upbeat and talented creators along with their independent studios in one gigantic effort to encourage friendly cooperation and make it possible for these artists to turn their imaginations into reality.

Featuring the story and art of Gilbert Monsanto as well as the original characters of more than a dozen independent local comic book artists, the first issue was successfully launched on the 22nd of November during Komikon 2008

Bayan Knights #1, #2 & #3 retails for P60 an issue.

Order more than 20 issues and we'll give you a 20% discount.

Deposit your contributions through any BPI branch to Sacred Mountain Publications, Account # 4033-04277-4.

Kindly write your name on the deposit slip and fax a copy to 655-6780. You may also scan or take a clear photo of the deposit slip and email the image file with your contact details to smp_letters@yahoo.com.

We would be happy to answer questions sent to that email address as well :)

Have contatced quite a few Philippino artists for commissions and found you guys through one of their postings. I think what Bayan Knights is doing is great. There are so many talented artists in the Philippines that it would be a shame to see it exploited. Consider me a fan and a supporter from now on. Keep up the good work :#1:
